You can complain about him in the blogger’s community or advice people not to guest post on his blog.
You can contact him to get backlinks again, if he is not responding to your comments then you have to post about him a FB group so that others can get it.
There must be good explanation for this blogs just don’t remove links without any reason. First, contact the author to make sure this wasn’t a technical fault. If he don’t answer your mails inform fellow blogger about his unacceptable behaviour this will surely put pressure on him after all every one want to keep his credibility intact.
